About Shunifu
Started with a handful of schools. Now it's hundreds across Eswatini.
Shunifu was built in Eswatini, for Eswatini. Today it powers schools, colleges, and government institutions across the country.
How it started
We watched teachers spend three weeks on report cards.
In 2019, we were inside Eswatini's schools, watching administrators type marks into Word documents, hand-write receipts for fee payments, and spend entire weekends building timetables on paper. The same work, repeated every term, at every school.
We built Shunifu to fix that. Not a generic platform reskinned for Africa, but a system designed from scratch for how schools here actually work. Class structures that match the Eswatini curriculum. Fee tracking that handles partial payments and SMS receipts. Report cards that match the formats parents expect.
Today, institutions across Eswatini depend on Shunifu, from single-stream primary schools to multi-campus government colleges. We process national exam results for ECESWA and support teachers and students across the country every day.
