Mission & Vision
The mission of the college is to maintain its position as the principal institution of higher level technical and vocational education and training in Eswatini. It is dedicated to providing and facilitating high quality training and learning in technology and business studies in collaboration with the commercial, industrial and public sectors. The aim is to enhance the development and expansion of the economy for prosperity of the Eswatini within the region of Southern Africa.

Our Story
Eswatini College of Technology was established as a Trade School in 1946 with two instructors offering carpentry and building and 24 male students. In the 1960’s the Trade School changed its name to Swaziland Industrial Training Institute with the provision of craft courses in Electrical, Welding, Fitting, Plumbing, etc. In 1974, the name of the institution was once again changed to the Swaziland College of Technology (SCOT). Technicians’ programs were introduced with the first female enrolment, with more emphasis on City and Guilds examination, Pitman, UNISWA (BAI) and AAT. In 2019 Swaziland College of Technology changed it’s name to Eswatini College of Technology (ECOT).
